Introduction of the Subject Matter Expert: 

Dr. Tziporah Rosenberg, PhD, LMFT

Dr. Tziporah Rosenberg is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Family Medicine, the Institute for the Family, and the Division of Collaborative Care within the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She is the Associate Chair for Education in the Department of Psychiatry and the Assistant Program Director for Psychosocial Medicine in the Family Medicine Residency.  Dr. Rosenberg has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters on topics such as the integration of health and relationships, interdisciplinary/collaborative care, and training of healthcare professionals.

  1. Differentiate between interprofessional, interdisciplinary, and multidisciplinary approaches to care
  2. Identify the hallmarks of a highly effective interprofessional team caring for people with IDD in acute care settings
  3. Report confidence to implement at least three strategies to enhance team and/or interprofessionalism in their settings
  4. Identify and report confidence to implement strategies to meaningfully engage people with IDD, advocates, and important others as part of the care team
